what exhasut will fit
08/31/15 3:47 AM

Hi there all, i have a problem with getting the right exhaust for my bike.
I can see that there are alot off people with knowledge so i hope you can help me(srry for my writing im from holland)

My zx14 is from 2007. I realy want dual exhasut. At this point i have vance&hynes slip ons but i wanna have the yoshimura R77. The only problem is that they dont sell the full race system in dual. Only in one sided.

I realy want the duals and yoshimura. Is there something that can work? Exhasut 2011? Or a different brand header like akarapovic or brock?
Anyone has experiens with this problem?

Hope you can help to get my duals full race exhaust :)

Thnx

GDay,

All you need is in this link.

Yoshi R-77 Slip On Issue

I know because back in the day I added R-77's to my old 07.
Never had a problem and all performed faultlessly.

Good luck if you decide to go this way...

If i understand youre topic correctly you have put slip ons on youre fabric header.
I want a full race exhaust yoshimura r77 dual.

One thing i dont understand. Looking on ebay the R77 full system single will fit 2006-2015. But the dual will only fit 20012-2015.
My brain can not figure this out. If the single will fit all years than the dual that will fit 2012 will also fit 2007 because the single also fits...??????
What am i missing?

It's the diameter of the oem headers that is different so if you change the header for an aftermarket one then more model years are catered for

Easy, call or write to Yoshimura direct and they will explain all your options to you...

what about this. If i buy a 2010 akrapovic header and i buy the 2010 yoshimura dual slip ons i will have a full race dual system right. Maybe not the 100% accurat pressures because off 2 brands but it will be a full race exhaust and its dual like i want it.

Brocks sell exhausts 2006-2015. For me that says that all exhaust hanging and clearing are the same. So will think it will work. The only difference is mid pipe clearance but i will avoid that.

Do you agree???

Check the Kawasaki forum at SportTouring.net.
Volfy, a member there, has an Akropovic 4-1-2 header and is using the Yosh R77 duals on his 2012.
He just plugged the left exhaust to run the right muffler only so he could use a center stand.
